Charles Carvel Blankenship,
84, of Indianapolis, passed away November24, 2016. He was born in Marrowbone, Kentucky to Immer V. and Bertha L. Blankenship on December 2, 1931. He retired from Mitchell and Scott Machine Company. He enjoyed hunting and was a long time member of Mt. Comfort Free Will Baptist Church. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, brother Walter Ray, sisters Elsie Sue and Charlotte Joan. He is survived by sisters Anna V., Peggy, Rita and brothers George T. (Mary) and Ben (Pat), as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Viewing...

Viewing will be Sunday, November 27 from 2 - 4 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, with a funeral service at 4 pm. Burial will be Monday, November 28 at 1 pm at Bucksville Cemetery in Bucksville, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to his favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
